Dear Asad, we will try to be brutally honest with you. There are approximately 90,000 MBBS seats in India as of now. This number will increase in 2020 with the Government's proposal of starting as many as 75 new Medical Colleges. Now these are Private and Government Medical Colleges included. There might be approximately close to 40,000 GMC seats. And these are distributed among all Categories like OBC: 27%, SC:7.5% and ST: 15%. So, to secure a seat in a GMC is an uphill task. But giving up should never be an option. Now if you cannot secure a seat in GMC, you may join any Bachelor's degree and appear for NEET parallelly because now there is no upper age limit for NEET.
