If a candidate has applied for the exam in April and has already appeared in the January session of the exam, then only the best of the two scores will be considered for the final rank list i.e, if your score in January session is better than the score in the April session, only the January score will be considered and vice versa.

If u have given ur MAINS exam in Jan and wishing to give in the April slot then u must go for it. The best percentile of the two exams given will be taken into account so u are having another chance with u for giving that exam.

The result of the april one will be taken as another chance and the percentile u are getting is that will have no link with the first one. So start wisely and give as much as u can give make that one better.
