You will be considered under General Category and then based on your rank in the General Merit list, if you have a chance, you will get a seat or else you might not. It depends on the availability of seats under General Category for your rank.

If you could not provide EWS certificate during counselling, then your candidature will not be cancelled but you will be given a seat on the basis of your General All India Rank.

But it is not advisable to fill EWS category in the application form if you are not from this category.
