if I get 85 percentile in jee mains, which are the best colleges I should approach for software engineering

If you belong to general category and you get 85 percentile then it somewhere becomes tough for you to qualify for JEE ADVANCE and then you may need to choose the college through your JEE mains marks itself.

You can apply for all the avaialble NITS and try your luck since their intake is high.

Other than them, some of the other colleges that you can try for are -

1 BITS Pilani

2 KJ SOMAIYA COLLEGE of Engineering

3 Swami Vivekananda University

4 Netaji Subhas Institute Of Technology

5 Anna University

6 COE PUNE
