Hey Nikhil,
Even if you give improvement exams, the eligibility criteria remains unchanged i.e for admission to various IITs, NITs and GFTIs, you need to score 75% marks in total (for general category), 65% marks for SC/ST category. Under state board, you need to be the top 20 percentile in their respective board.
