With a score of around 300in SC category, you have chances of procuring a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. But, it largely depends on your state. For example, With this score, you have chances of procuring a seat in the government medical colleges of Karnataka while it is not so in the case of states like TamilNadu for which the scores are extremely high. Yes you can definitely get a  government medical college under reserved quota as you have scored decent amount of marks as last year also the cutoff was sc category was between 220-420 marks .so yes you can get government medical college.
