For sure you will get a seat in if you score more than 90 percent marks in JEE Mains and 85 percent in board examination and in order to get into a NIT of your wish you will have to keep your priorities in online counseling and after getting a counseling letter you need to attend for the counseling in that particular NIT and join in the college.

To get a seat in nit ,you have to give jee mains and get qualified in them ,your 12th board percentage also play role as nit demands 75 percent in pcm
Your jee mains score will decide in which nit you  will be eligible to get admission in ,once qualified you would be called for counseling during that you will get to know about your engineering branch

The eligibility criteria to get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with atleast 75% if candidate belongs to general category and 65% if the candidate belongs to SC/ST category from a recognized board or university.

So, with 85% in class 12 you will be eligible to get admission in NITs.
