Firstly, know that if you have a RT in more than two subjects out of five subjects, then you will have to repeat 12th standard. But, if that is not the case, and you have RT in only 1 or 2 subjects, make sure you start preparing or those subjects at the earliest without wasting your time and keep an eye at the registration dates for the compartment exams.
