I think the question is very superficial since the government colleges as well as a private colleges have their own advantages and disadvantages and while you will get the advantage of getting lots of patients and the ability to learn by treating them as well as complete your studies at a minimal residual fee paid from your end to the institution in a government institution the number of patients would be less but the art of fairness and patient handling along with the presence and uses of artificial water why she is might be at your disposal in private medical colleges which might not be there in government medical colleges but at the graduation level at least government medical colleges always preferred unless of course it is a very reputed college like Manipal medical College

Hello Redhanya,

If you get an opportunity to join in both private as well as govt medical college, definitely I would suggest you to go for Government Medical college.

It would be a golden opportunity in getting a medic seat after a tough competition all among india and definitely it matters a lot in both practical field of work as well as financial situation. It would cost you about 75 -90 lakhs for complete course of 5years whereas it would be only 3- 4 lakhs in govt College .

In govt medical college, you will be exposed to different types of patients with different problems and it would expose you to most of the knowledge providing as well as experience with the faculty who has mastered almost everything in all the fields . Getting admission in govt college will be only based on your capability and talent ,whereas in private college ,any rich kid could buy a seat in management quota without any knowledge or talent in the field. So do work hard and try getting a govt seat in a medical college ,good luck.

You should definately opt for a government medical college due to the fact that the fees is too low and you get maximum opportunities to excel and of course government run institutions have more value in today's scenario.

Hello,

Without any hesitation you should go for government medical colleges.Because the first and foremost that you will be benefited with is the fees. The fees at government medical colleges are very low and that make it very easy for admission.
The drawbacks are that many government colleges have poor facilities and student do not learn latest technology in their less resourced hospital.
On the other hand, some good private colleges have all modern facilities for student to learn.
But non the less the best option should is to go for government colleges.

I hope this helps.
