Hi,

It is not compulsory to give your improvement exams for class 12th. The marksheet of improvement exams is also different from original one. In case if you get less marks also in improvement exams the best of two will be considered. So yes you can take admission into IIT/NIT or NDA without appearing for improvement exams.

Hope this will helps !!

Hello

If you have filled the form for improvement exam that meant that your initial marks were not good or satisfying enough. However if your score is sufficient o get you a college via JEE in any IIT/NIT or you get selected in NDA then it wont be compulsory for you to give the improvement exam (provided that you have the cutoff marks already). There will not be any problem incase you choose not to give the improvement exam after applying for it because it is not mandatory. Your previous result will be valid even when you quit i mprovement exam
