JEE is the widely accepted engineering exam for admission to engineering colleges. Josaa counselling is done for admission into IITs (Indian Institute of Technology )NITs (National Institute of Technology )IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology )and GFTIs. (Government Funded Technical Institute ).Apart from that state level entrance exams are also conducted which is confined to respective state.There are institutes which provide admission based on state level entrance exam.Check the respective state counseling process and eligibility criteria for further clarifications.
