Hello Aspirant,
Qualifying cutoff makes you eligible to apply for JEE Advanced & to participate in JOSSA counselling but admission cutoff differs to each college and you should meet the admission cutoff to get admission in any particular college.
Previous year the qualifying cutoff was 89 percentile of General category, With this percentile the candidates were eligible to apply for JEE Advanced & participate for JOSSA counselling but they didn't get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.
If you qualify the cutoff then you can apply for JEE Advanced & can try to score well to get a seat in IITs or you can apply for state counselling like Punjab, Haryana, MP, Uttarakhand Etc. the admission eligibility can varies to the state for the Government seats. The other option is you can apply for JAC Delhi counselling which is conducted for the admission to Government colleges like DTU, NSIT. In total seats, 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Candidates remaining 15% seats are there for the outside Delhi candidates there.
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
As you know that JEE Main is conducted twice in a year so you can also try for the second attempt to score well & get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.
Good Luck!
