Dear Arshad, lets say you completed MBBS abroad, you have to appear in FMGE to practise in India. You have unlimited no.of attempts to clear FMGE. But as long as you clear FMGE, you cannot practise in India. But if you want to practise in any other country, you needn't appear for FMGE but you need to clear the license exam for that particular country. For more information on FMGE, please go through this link: http://examarchive.natboard.edu.in/fmge/faqs.html
