Yes , after qualifying the JEE Mains you will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advance .

Eligibility criteria for JEE Advance are -->  candidates must qualify JEE Mains ( paper 1 ) and rank among the top 2,50,000 ( including all categories ) for getting B.E. / B. Tech .

Two different sessions of JEE main conducted in different years have no interrelation between them so you cannot simply appear for JEE advanced 2023 if you qualify JEE main 2022. To appear in the JEE advanced 2023 examination you will need to qualify JEE main 2023.

Also one more important thing is that you need to complete your class 12th in 2022 only because to appear for JEE advanced examination a candidate need to have completed intermediate in same year or the subsequent year.

if you qualify JEE MAINS 2022 and are unable to secure a great rank in JEE  advanced 2022 then you can take a drop of 1 year and appear for jee mains and advanced in 2023.

you cannot attempt JEE ADVANCED directly in 2023 after qualifying jee MAINS in 2022.

you will have to attempt and qualify JEE MAINS 2023 in order to become eligible for appearing in JEE ADVANCED 2023.
