Every diploma holder who wants to pursue engineering has to get admission in state institutes through a lateral entry that means you will be joining the programme in the 2nd year. None of the private institute or NITs, IITs provides admission to the diploma holder. After the diploma many engineering colleges realeses there form for the BTech 2nd year lateral entry in their colleges you should apply for those colleges.

Some of the college might take your entrance test or some might not ,it depends upon there entrance system

So by this procedure you can do the engineering after the diploma
