If you want to make a Career in the field of biotechnology and genetics , then as such there are no specific exams. You can go for BSc in biotechnology in any university and admission criterias will be particular to that university/college. Some provide admission directly on basis of your 12th percentage, other conducts their own exams like IISC Bangalore. That is the best college in India for basic sciences and it provides admission through KVPY channel  or aptitude test as an entrance exams. You can check the particulars on the official website.
