Hello,

To join the National Defence Academy (NDA) after 12th , your subject choice depends on the wing you want to pursue:

1. Army Wing

  • You can choose any stream in 12th (Science, Commerce, or Arts).
  • For the written exam, concentrate on Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge.

2. Air Force and Navy Wings

  • Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) is compulsory in 12th.
  • Mathematics and Physics are must for eligibility.

Why Mathematics is Important

  • Mathematics is a core subject in the NDA written exam for all wings.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.

Preparation Tips

  • Choose PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for wider scope.
  • Develop physical fitness and leadership qualities.
  • Start early NDA preparation with emphasis on Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge.
  • Keep yourself updated on current affairs for SSB interview.
