Mohit, a work experince works in your favour if your aim is either any of the IIMs or a top B-School because you need to have a profile that is impressive. Now not all the IIMs do not need work experience but the top IIMs do prefer someone with work experience. Again it is not mandatory but helps you build an Academic profile. But if your goals is to join any College, then you needn't put up work experience. You can join MBA right after BBA and then take up the placement that the College offers. So in a nut shell, it depends on your target Institution.
