At Amrita Viswa Vidyapeeth and VIT Coimbatore, and Vellore respectively, it is possible to apply under both the general quota and the NRI quota, but please keep in mind, that you cannot hold seats under both simultaneously. During admission, you actually have to choose one quota for final enrollment. Applying under both simple increases your chances of getting a seat, but once you accept the offer, the other application will become void. So, take these into consideration. Hope this helps!
