Hey aspirant,

According to my research and information, the student who has higher rank then first his preferences will be checked if he gets the seat in the college he preferred at first then he will be alloted that seat. But if he doesn't get that seat which he locked as first preference then,

The college which he has locked as the second preference and the same college is locked as first preference by a student who has lower rank then the rank of the student is seen. The student who has higher rank will be alloted that seat. It doesn't matters upon your preference, what matters is, YOUR RANK.
