Dear Safal

Totally you have 3 attempts to write the JEE MAINS examination but from the next year onwards the two chances for writing the JEE MAINS will be considered as the one single attempt. So this will be as the benefit for the students because overall they are getting 6 chances to write the JEE MAINS examination.

Hii

Before the new rules every candidate had a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main when it was conducted only once per year.

From 2019 onwards, Both the attempts of January & April will be counted as 1. It means in 3 attempts, you will get 6 Chances to crack JEE Mains.
