Hi Girija,

From 2019 you can appear two times per year. So number of attempts in 3 years will be six from next year. For more information follow the link below:

Hey.

Before the new rules every candidate had a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main when it was conducted only once per year. From 2019 onwards, candidates can appear twice for the entrance test in a year. So this if used in correlation with the original number of attempts, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main number of attempts in total will be six in 3 years.
