Hello

Yes , a Telangana student can get a seat in another state through ECET (Engineering Common Entrance Test) but it depends on certain factors:

1. ECET Eligibility and Scope:

TS ECET (Telangana State ECET) is primarily for diploma holders and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates seeking lateral entry into 2nd year B.Tech courses within Telangana.

AP ECET (Andhra Pradesh ECET) serves the same purpose but for colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

2. Admission in Other States :

ECET scores are not valid for other states unless there is a specific agreement or mutual recognition between Telangana and the other state.

For admission to other state engineering colleges, you might need to:

Appear for that state’s entrance exam (like Karnataka CET, Maharashtra CET etc.).

Apply under the management quota or NRI quota in private colleges.

hope this helps you .
