if there is no restrictions for the no. of attempts in neet exam then why in registration form they ask for no.of previous attempts? and they also mentioned that no of previous attempts not more than 7. if no any restriction on no.of attempts then that column should be optional

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET does not actually requires the data of the previous attempts of the student, they just do it as a routine exercise an it also helps them to collect data to publish statistics regarding the same in their internal committees.

Moreover, there is no age cap on NEET, which means that even a 60 year old person can appear for it and clear it it he/she is well prepared. Moreover, you might have some wrong info as there is no restriction on the number of attempts of NEET.
