Hello Ayushman,

Hope you are doing well.

Candidates who have secured higher marks in the BHU Law entrance examination will be ranked higher. However, candidates having a postgraduate degree in a discipline course will be ranked on the basis of their respective marks in the graduation degree. In case candidates have similar marks in graduation and in the qualifying examination then preference will be given to the candidate who has secured more marks in the relevant subject.

In case if still, the tie doesn’t break, candidates who secure higher marks in Mathematics will be preferred. If still tie continues, then higher marks secured by the student at 10+2 qualifying examination will be given preference. Moreover, students who have Mathematics as a subject will be preferred over the other one.

If a tie in marks still continues amongst the candidates, then the elder one will be taken into consideration.

Good luck
