see you did not mention the institute name in which you wants to take admission for lateral entry. however generally admission to lateral entry admission to b.tech or b.pharma is based on entrance test follows by counselling or interview rounds. however after clearing entrance test, next stage is interview rounds then you have to get selection for interview rounds for next step to  admission process.

unless you are not shortlisted for interview you have less chances for final selection / admission.
