HELLO KAVYA
It is not necessary that you should have a good college for good job. Yeah but good colleges have a upper hand since top companies prefer the top colleges but do not worry you too can get a good job if you have the required skills for that particular job.
for ex If there is a student from IIt and he sits for an interview and if he does not have any skills regarding that job then obviously he will not be selected in spite of studying from IIts. There are 23 IITs across the country.Even among the top IITs, a 100 percent placement is not a reality. For example, at IIT Bombay, a total of 84.47 percent students were placed in the 2018-19 placement process. AS you can see the placement percentage is less because the students did not had required skills.
NOw coming to your situation you have a college where the recruiters are not that good and provide less package but this can stop you from getting a good job. There is something called an off campus placements where companies like microsoft,IBm etc recruits students. You can do is apply off campus and you too can get a good package job.
Now there is no harm in doing PG after all it will boost your chances for getting even better package and doing PG from a reputed institutes will gai8n you a upperhand !!
HOPE IT HELPS!!
