Hello there.

I am assuming that by the question mentioned above you meant that you haven't studied the NCERT of Biology and have only been referring to Trueman's Biology for your preparation of NEET and AIIMS. Now, you are confused and want to know that from where the questions are selected in the examination either from NCERT or Trueman's.

See, studying the NCERT for biology is the most important thing before sitting for medical entrance examinations in India. The questions in the final examination are directly taken from NCERT. Even in AIIMS, all the questions, diagrams, the assertion-reasoning questions come from NCERT directly. But, as you have already studied Trueman, it would now be easier for you to complete NCERT as soon as possible.

Trueman should be used specifically for reference purposes only. For ultimate preparation, you should be studying the NCERT and solve MTG NCERT at your fingertips. That would be more than enough.
