Its a very good question and i appreciate that you want to enter the stock market world with all the knowledge. Having said that, here are some things you need to know before investing.

• You will have to gain all tiny bit of knowledge regarding trading. There are many YouTube channels who have explained the whole stock market, you can watch the videos and learn and then only start.

• There is no trader in the world with 100% accuracy. You must be comfortable with losses because this is the part of the game.

• You will have to use all your instincts and you have to be very calm and patient like a surgeon is while doing an operation.

• Follow news everday and read premium content in magazines and newspapers regarding stock market, its ups and downs and trends.

• Don't be driven by sentiment but instead use your knowledge.

• And finally, always talk to your parents regarding what amount you are investing.

As such there is as such no age restriction for investing in stock markets of India. But for that you need to open a bank account and then a DEMAT account which is linked to the savings account. However, a minor of 14 or 17 years can not open account. You can open an account with your parents as guardian till you attain an age of 18 years.
