Hi aspirant,

First of all, you shouldn't have lied to them, they might rusticate you if they get to know about this. The best thing you can do now is to give Maths compartment exam which would be held in this month only. You will be given a new mark sheet in which only Maths marks would be given. You'll have to show both the mark sheet in future whenever required.

Mathematics is one of the major subject which you require for doing engineering. It may be a private engineering college because Govt. colleges wont allow you to have a seat if you have failed in any of the subjects-Physics, Chemistry or Maths. However after Btech, you wont be allowed to sit for GATE or any such exams to do your Mtech. You wont be allowed in any national or state exams. It will even hamper you jobs. So, it better for you to give a repeat in maths and atleast score 55%
