If you've enrolled yourself in the 1st year of Basic Sciences namely Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology in 2018-19 leading to B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S and if you secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)  in class 12th, you're eligible for KVPY 2018.

If you are a student of degree first year, you are eligible to apply for KVPY 2018 for Stream SB. However, you have to meet the eligibility requirements set by Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. 

 Check the eligibility criteria as prescribed by KVPY below:

• During the academic year 2018–19, students enrolled in the first year of undergraduate program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S are eligible.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)  in the XII Standard Board Examination.
• In the first year final examination of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. candidates must secure 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks before taking up the fellowship programme, if awarded.

Students must have secured minimum 75% in General category in 12th standard and must have secured minimum 60% in first year of Undergraduate degree course like BSc/BS/B. Math are eligible for KVPY.
