Hi aspirant,
Diploma students who have completed their degree, or are in the final year of doing so, are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019, but will not be given admission to NITs and CFTIs. If they qualify JEE Main, they will have to appear for JEEAdvanced, and they will be given admission like class 12th pass students in respective IITs and other institutes considering JEE advanced score.
Thank you!
Dear Karthi, Diploma holders can appear for JEE Mains only to be eligible for JEE Advanced. But they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for admissions into NITs and CFTIs. In short, you can appear for JEE Main based on your Diploma eligibility. But that score and rank can be used only for fulfilling the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced but cannot use it to apply for NITs and CFTIs.
