Dear aspirant

To fix your seat in any college of counseling you have to report the college and complete the admission procedure after that you can opt option for upgradation. If you do this following procedure if you don't get upgradation into round2 then also you will have seat reserved in college allotted in round first.

Also keam has written a note in it's notification for the students about not reporting the College. It says

Those candidates who do not join the college allotted within the stipulated time (including candidates eligible for fee concession) will lose their allotment as well as all the existing higher options in the stream to which the allotment belongs.

you can report to your college allotted in round first upto Nov 26. If you don't report in round first then you will loose your allotment and also you will be not eligible for higher option in that course. If you go into round2 it's not necessary that you will be allotted same college/or any college. So to reserve your seat in that college you will have to report.

I hope you are doing well, about your question, u might not get the same seat anymore if u don't atleast accept the seat in 1st councilling. Since u didn't report. Even all the good seats will be filled up so some not so prestigious colleges may come on in 2nd round.

It's up to u though if u want  to be a part of that colleges offered in 1st round than take the seat.
