In order to study acturial science, you will have to be a student member of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). In order to do this, you will have to clear the Acuturial Common Entrance Test or ACET. This is conducted 2 times a year and if you clear the cutoff for the exam then you may obtain student status with IAI and work towards a qualification in acturial science.

The exam comprises questions from mathematics, English, logical reasoning, data interpretation and statistics.
