You can appear for JEE Mains in the final year of your Diploma and nit in your First year. To appear in JEE Advanced, as a diploma holder can apply in JEE Main 2020. But your rank & score in JEE Main will not be considered for admission in NITs & CFTIs. So by aplearing for JEE Mains, you can take admission in State run Govt. Engineering Colleges and Private Engineering Colleges but not in NITs and CFTIs.
