Syllabus for JEE Main includes all the Chapters of NCERT Class 11th and 12th. You cannot say that a chapter is less important as the question asked in the JEE Main include at least one question from all the topics directly or Indirectly.

However, you can pay more attention on these chapters as there is always a probability more questions from these topics -

Physics

• Heat and Thermodynamics
• Optics
• Simple Harmonic Motion and Waves
• Modern Physics
• Mechanics
• Electrodynamics

Chemistry

• Inorganic Chemistry [ Chemical Bonding, Periodic Table, Periodicity and S-block]
• Physical Chemistry [ Solid state, Ionic Equilibrium, Mole Concept, Thermodynamics and Thermochemistry]
• Organic Chemistry [ Aromatic Compounds, Biomolecules, Carbohydrates, Amino Acids and
  Polymers, Carbonyl Compounds, Environmental chemistry, Alkyl Hallide, Alcohol & Ether ]

Maths

• Co-ordinate Geometry
• Calculus (Integration and Differentiation
• Probability
• Matrix and Determinant
• Trigonometry
• Algebra ( Permutation , comnination and complex numbers)

Most of the questions comes from these topics, but you should study all topics and pay more attention on these
