Hello,
Getting a call from any IIM depends on a lot of factors such as CAT percentile, graduation subject and percentage, class X and XII marks, work experience if any etc.
An engineer would require higher percentile than a candidate in B.Sc degree.
For your profile, to get a call from top IIMs and B-Schools you'll need 99+ percentile. However this changes every year depending upon number of applicants.

I m doing my graduation in B.COM. Is there any drawback of being non- engineer or engineer for MBA?

Rohit thapa No, having a different background than engineering has absolutely no drawbacks. Infact its better as you will complete your graduation in 3 years with relatively easier college syllabus to deal with, so you can prepare for CAT with college studies itself.
Also because a large number of candidates are from engineering background, the percentile required for getting a call goes higher for them.
