Correct Answer: 4320


Solution : Valid votes = 90% of 12000 = 10800
Votes other candidate gets
= (100 – 60 = 40)% of valid votes
= $\frac{40}{100}$ × 10800
= 4320
Hence, the correct answer is 4320.
