See qualifing JEE mains doesn't guarantee you for the admission in NIT or IIT for that you have to pass the MAINS with a  good score such that you may be able to enter in these elite institutes and second thing your  score in 12th also should be atleast 75%.

For IIT or NIT you require either of the 2 requirements:
1.) At leat 75% in respective boards which you are not having so no point of talking about it. This is for Geberal/ OBC  and for SC/ST it is around 65%.
2.) You must be among top 20 percentile students. For that you must check the the top 20 percentile percentage on the JOSAA website.
