This is a very relative question and would depend person to person. Kindly do not judge yourself on the basis of marks you obtained in your 12th. Because if you like one subject and have interest in that you should definitely take up that subject or stream.

But as you have mentioned between pharmacy and engineering I would say as per my view you should go for engineering as pharmacy has lower scope definitely .
