in fargusson collage for ug students is there admission through merit based or entrence exam ?? is that compulsory that admission for ug students only take through merit basis for bsc microbiology or bsc biotechnology ???

Hello there

There are 28 UG ,18 PG and 5 phD courses provided by Fergusson College.

In B.Sc ,there are 10 courses offered by the college.Fergusson College gives BSc admission  to students on the basis of academic  marks in the previous  qualifying exam.It also offers BSc vocational courses in Physics &Electronic Science  at UG level. Total no.of seats available - 600 .

These are the following specialisation in course (B.Sc) ;

Animation,Biotechnology, Botany,Chemistry, Electronic Science, Geology, Statistics, Zoology,Physics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics.

Candidates need to be passed class 12th with Science stream.
