Hello.
GATE rank is never ever effected based on the reservation where it may be sc or pwd or general . Rank is based only on the marks that you score out of 100 in GATE exam.
But while you are applying for any PSUs or willing to take admission in any of the IITs at that time your reservation helps you a lot like where gen student need < 120 marks to get IITB where as sc students is eligible with around 400 rank.(this is just an example).
Your rank may be around 19k with a gate score around 400.
