The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) course can be completed in 2.5 to 4 years on average. Here's the breakdown:

• Level I : Can be taken after graduation or in the final year. Conducted 4 times a year (Feb, May, Aug, Nov).

• Level II : Held twice a year (May & Aug).

• Level III : Also held twice a year (Feb & Aug).

If you clear all levels on the first attempt with proper gap management and meet the work experience requirement (4 years), you can become a CFA charterholder in around 3 years .
