For admissions in HPU, you must have a score of atleast 45% in your graduation. This is one of the eligibility criteria for admissions.
Taking about the entrance exam, you have to give a 90 marks paper, including MCQs for which the merit list will be released. According to the merit list, the selection of candidates will be done. In 2019, the cut-off for entrance exam was 35% marks.
So, basically there is nothing like graduation marks are more important or entrance marks are more important. In both cases, you have to fulfill the minimum criteria.
