In ICAR exam ,there is also a biotechnology (B tech ) coarse ,I'm confused in engineering btech and bio technology bio stream please clear it , i want to do genetic engineering which coarse options will I mark?

You can go for any of the two ways to join biotechnology course as the eligibility criteria states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 50-60% marks in PCB/M/PCMB subject stream from a recognised board of education.
But,for genetic engineering, b.tech will be more appropriate course. The eligibility criteria for b.tech genetic engineering states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 50% marks in PCB/M from a recognised board of education. B tech will help you more in technicalities.
