Yes and no
I'll be explaining from my point of view as a former cbse student I face a lot of difficulty and then a lot of positive experience.
Firstly switching boards is hectic especially if you want to join state board which requires a ton of documentation and notary work. Let's say you've managed all of this and have entered.
In state board the array of bifocal subjects colleges offered is way more than cbse board with core subjects in bifocal like electronics. Also state board is much more cheaper then cbse and runs of the state syllabus of state entrance test.
Incase you want a college in some other state I'll suggest you pick cbse.
At the end of the day if state exam is you main priority and you wish to get a good state college then go ahead with state board and cet.
Else if you wish IIT or nit or if you are a neet student then cbse is your best bet.
I to be honest loved state board and it's pattern.

Hello student,

As you have passes your 10th with ICSE board with attaining 82%. It would be advisable if you continue your studies with CBSE board. As you can see that many competitive exams which you will face further will contain the syllabus of CBSE boards only. Therefore it would help you with respect to future aspects.

Cheers!
