IITs don't confine themselves to a particular course. There are various Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Research based programmes that each IIT offers in various departments. So we cannot generalise IIT Placements. Now there are few departments which are offered higher package than the others. These are CSE, ECE, IT, etc. There are Summer placements, Pre final placements, etc. Now there are International and National Clients too that offer IITs opportunities. There are 23 IITs across India and each one is no lesser than the other. In short, your placements and package depends on the Course you have studied, your aggregate in your course and your performance in the Interview.
