See in JAC counselling seat are allotted only on the basis of CRL ranks but it does not mean that only general candidates can take part in it but the reserved category candidates can also take part in it. And in JEE-Main result the candidate is allotted CRL rank as well as category rank if the candidate belongs to any of the reserved category.

It is known that JAC counselling is only conducted for admission to engineering courses offered in DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW and IIIT Delhi.
