Hello Aspirant,

As per the new scheme released by National Testing Agency for JEE-Main, now the candidates can appear for JEE-Main 4 times in a year which makes them eligible for total 12 attempts (4 attempts for 3 consecutive years. Now it's your choice whether you want to appear for only single attempt or two attempts or three or all of the four attempts, it completely depends upon you. If you appear for more than 1 attempt then your best result among them would be taken into consideration. You can register for all attempts in once or you can also register for them separately before each session.

There are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examina tion :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.
