Jipmer is a govt medical college located in pondicherry (a place in south india ) . They conduct their own medical entrance exam and thats JIPMER MBBS .The seats will be alloted to students in this institute based on the marks they score in this exam . Out of 200 seats , 50 seats r for the students belonging to pondicherry . And the rest r for others . Hope this answer serves you .

JIPMER is a government college itself and they conduct their own entrance exam.

AIIMS and JIPMER are the exams of somewhat same level. these are tougher than NEET.
